A reference DAC is easier to judge when the comparison is controlled and the music is familiar. MSN Audio’s private MSB audition is held in a residential listening environment in Croydon, Melbourne, with time to listen without showroom traffic or show-floor noise.
By prior arrangement, you may bring one compatible DAC or streamer. Compatibility is reviewed before the appointment so the session can focus on listening rather than troubleshooting. Advice relevant to your system is included in the audition; there is no separate general-consulting package.
