MSB Palisade is the long-awaited direct successor to the MSB Reference DAC. MSN Audio, as an authorised MSB dealer in Australia, is preparing one of the first Australian Palisade audition programs for clients who want to experience the new platform properly.

The next chapter after MSB Reference
Palisade is the direct successor to MSB Reference, but its significance goes further. It brings MSB’s latest digital architecture into a more focused two-chassis design for serious digital listeners.
Compared with Cascade, Palisade uses four of the same Hybrid DAC modules rather than eight, integrates the Powerbase into the Analog Converter, and removes analogue inputs to focus entirely on digital playback and DAC performance.
Most importantly, Palisade uses the same Cascade Digital Director architecture. During its development, MSB introduced new performance techniques that allowed Palisade to exceed the current Cascade in musical performance; advances that are now being brought back to Cascade and Sentinel.

Do I need to pay to register?
No. Registration is free. You are simply joining the Palisade audition update list so MSN Audio can notify you when dates and availability are confirmed.

Audition dates will be announced once Palisade arrival timing and setup are confirmed. Registered clients will receive updates before wider public promotion.
Will Melbourne clients be able to audition Palisade?
Yes. Melbourne private listening sessions will be arranged once Palisade is available and ready for demonstration.
Will Palisade be available for interstate home auditions?
Future interstate home audition periods are planned. These will be opened city by city depending on timing, logistics and registered interest.
Is this a full system roadshow?
No. Interstate home auditions are designed around the client’s existing system. MSN Audio brings the relevant MSB equipment for evaluation, not a complete loudspeaker and amplifier system.
What if I am comparing dCS or another reference DAC?
That is a good reason to register. Palisade is relevant for clients comparing serious reference-level digital front ends and wanting to hear MSB before making a final decision.
